Sarasvathi

It is astonishing how elements that seem insoluble become soluble when someone listens, how confusions that seem irremediable turn into relatively clear flowing streams when one is heard
Carl Rogers

Meet Sarasvathi.

Sarasvathi is a compassionate and experienced counsellor offering thoughtful support to individuals and families navigating a wide range of concerns. Through years of experience, she has worked with clients from diverse populations, which has deepened her appreciation for varying cultural values and interpersonal dynamics. This perspective allows her to approach each client with genuine respect, cultural sensitivity, and empathy.

Specialising in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy (NT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Sarasvathi guides clients in exploring their core beliefs and automatic negative thoughts. By understanding how these internal processes influence emotions and behaviours, clients are empowered to challenge unhelpful patterns, embrace their strengths, and reconnect with their values, fostering meaningful, lasting change.

Sarasvathi works with individuals across the lifespan, including youth, elderly clients, and families. Regardless of age or background, she is committed to walking alongside her clients on their journey of self-discovery, value clarification, and personal growth. Her holistic and empathetic approach creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can build resilience, uncover inner strengths, and work toward practical, personalised solutions.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselling at Monash University and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Guidance and Counselling. Sarasvathi is also a member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and is certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), equipping her with additional tools to support clients in overcoming life’s challenges and achieving their therapeutic goals.
